This is important because excessive battery deterioration is often the result of an undiagnosed condition that has gone un-noticed many months or even years. By the time the problem is discovered, much battery life has been lost. Catch these problems before they destroy the battery by regular inexpensive field testing. Forklift batteries can be tested in your facilities without removing it from the machine. This saves time and money. In most cases, batteries can be tested in less than a half hour and here’s what can be determined from this field test; State of charge of the battery, sulphation of plates as the result of under-charging, mechanical problems with plates or other components, dead or weak cells, acid loss due to over-filling.

Something as simple as a loose electrical connection or excessive dust build-up inside a charger can cause premature and expensive failure of components and down-time. Some older model chargers still have old style controls or even manual timers. We offer a wide range of upgrade controls for most chargers to upgrade to state-of-the-art auto start, auto stop controllers.
